world of warcraft
Dj Ultranza asked:

hey guys, i have just bought world of warcraft and ive been trying to play it on my computer which is connected to the internet via a billion 7404VGO router, at first i couldnt connect to the game so i searched blizzard forums and support and opened all the ports recommended, but found this no use, i completely dissabled the firewall and it began working but unfortunatedly my family needs the firewall on as they work from home, i am wondering what i can do to get world of warcraft working, and any other games because no other games work either

thanks, cahil

Maybe your firewall is blocking games, go into the firewall settings, allow programs list (sometimes called exceptions) and add the games. Should then let you play.

if you have your own computer you can disable the firewall just for that machine or if you don’t have that you can just allow the program to connect to the internet. your anti virus program SHOULD ask you what you want to do depending on the security setting and/or if you have it display a prompt or ask you what you want to do.
