Can i stop paying my world of warcraft account then reactivate it later?

You need to upgrade the account at WoW’s account manager. From there, I think you add the CD Key. I did the electronic delivery thing when it first came out, and it automatically showed it in the Account Manager. I would think your key would have the burning crusades attached to it. But entering the CD Key is the main process of showing Blizzard you actually purchased a valid copy, so until you do that, you can’t access those features. You will also need to install the burning crusades thingy to access those features.
But you can’t really do anything in the Burning crusades area till your around lvl 58, so you don’t really need to install that at this time, if u are not a high lvl. But entering your cd key on blizzards account manager, should allow you access to that when its time.

sharp guy is right about the burning crusade expansion and lvl 58 but when you install the burning crusade it lets you do 2 new races that the original doesn’t have
