A little bit off topic, but I have a kinda a dumb question. I’ve been wanting to try guild wars for a bit, but my problem is is I don’t know witch game I’m suppose, theres so many different ones, eye of the north, fractions? Anyways if any of you that have played the game could help and tell me witch one I’m suppose to get would be great! Like I said I’m definitely a beginner lol.

Ok the order i bought in was prophescies first (the first ever guild wars) then for xmas i got the other 3, compleated nf played a little factions then completed Eye of the north. ofc its up to you but i would recommend prophecies, or nightfall because it has a better tutorial, so does factions, ENTIRLY up to you. also if you do buy this game add me—-> tenrai the great. ill help you get started. thank you very much for your help. So what your saying is is that it really doesn’t matter witch one I buy. I was asking, cause when I got into W.o.W I learned you bought the game and then expansion. So thats why I want to make sure I buy the right thing and don’t waste my money buying stuff I don’t need.

You can get any one of them first It doesn’t really matter. I suggest you get Prophecy and then branch, and get either Factions or Nightfall. They are both excellent titles. But then, I REALLY suggest you wait because I heard Guild Wars 2 is coming out soon. Go to google and type in “Wiki Guild Wars” (just like that) and look up everything, from professions to skills and then make your decision. Okay, hope this helped.
