The patches can always be found for free at an Official Blizzard Mirror site.
There are a few, Fileshack, Filefront and Fileplanet for Windows, MacGameFiles for Mac.
Assuming that you’ve tried to log into the game, it’s told you you needed to update, it tried to update and failed, or, you just don’t like the Blizzard downloader, the mirrors are your best, quickest, and safest bet.
