Yeah definitely wait to buy the expansion. I have been playing for 6 months now and still don’t really need the expansion yet. It’s a big world out there!

I’d say wait to buy the expansion pack until you decide if you like the game. The only big changes for the lower levels are the two new races available: Draenei and Blood Elf. Unless you have your heart set on playing one of those right away, you can start with one of the traditional races (plenty to choose from) and create a different character later if you buy the expansion.

I’d say buy the game first and play it for a few months then decide whether to buy the expansion, the major change for beginners is two new races, so its not like the normal game lacks anything

No, don’t spend more money than you have to. Try the game, see if you like it, and it’s a large area to explore, so if I were you I wouldn’t but it unless I got really addicted to it, and only after at least a month of playing the game.

Definately wait to see if you like the game at all before spending the money. It’s a bit like buying a Harry Potter t-shirt and going to see the movie, and then deciding that you don’t like HP at all, and you’ve just spent $25 on the tee.

Not that that happened to me, just an example XD

So if you’re gonna buy the expansion pack sooner or later, why not buy it sooner?
