Can i stop paying my world of warcraft account then reactivate it later?

Well if it says your not on their friends list. You have to find some way to have them add you.. And with the “higher level” thing, sounds like you cant really get around that even if I’ve never seen that message before.

Really?! Nifty (it must be like that to stop the spam people were getting from gold sellers, in the whisper channel).
I suggest trying the in-game mail system. You only need 30 copper to send an in-game mail through a mailbox. Of course, then you have to wait for your friend to pick up the message. If you can’t use that … well, you probably only need a few levels to be allowed to use /w, and it only takes a few hours, at most, of easy play to get to level 6 or 11 or whatever the cutoff is. That’s probably the simplest way to overcome the block!

This is a new feature Blizzard has added to 10-day trial accounts to keep out the goldsellers who whisper people constantlly with ads.
Only way to get around it is to let you buddy know via email, phone call, etc and give him your screenname so he can /whisper you first.
