Im going to start playing on a private server that requires patch 3.0.3
I just now finished installing WoW and I don’t know what patch to start with. How can I tell what version I need to start on?

I think if you need the patch, it will automatically start downloading. Otherwise, there is a list of patches on their website

if you know where the wow.exe file is in your hard drive then go to that and right click it. Then go to properties -> version and there it should say the patch number followed by 4 more which are the build numbers (eg: 3.0.2.9867 or something like that). You can alternatively just open the game to the login screen and it should be in one of the corners.
hope this helps (note: if you have the shortcut on your desktop right-click it and select properties then ‘find target’ which will take you to the wow.exe)
