The general tone from people in the US as that of extreme anger, mainly directed toward their politicians, corporations, and the extremely wealthy. Why are Americans so angry right now?

Also, why should people who horde wealth be blamed? Isn’t capitalism designed around everyone stepping over each other to acquire as much wealth as possible? I thought Americans are for capitalism.
