The MMOvie project began with this trailer, which was something of an experiment for us – could machinima be produced with professional quality results, and was there an audience for the finished product? The resounding global success of this trailer answered “hell yes!” to both those questions, and we decided to take it a step further.
In January of ‘08 We started production of a high-definition, feature-length version of our machinima film. Creating machinima at this level of quality, requires an enormous amount of time and effort from our rather large team of professional filmmakers and actors. We will slowly release the film in small installments as we complete them.

This is the first in a mini series of CG movies from Blizzard Entertainment’s Warcraft Series that describe a bit more of the history behind World of Warcraft.
This movie came with the WC2 CD as a preview trailer. This story is about 4 years before WoW.
Story: The Second War, by human reckoning, was over. However the strife between orc and man continued. Only a new, otherworldly demonic threat may bring the warring races of Azeroth together, perhaps. The Burning Legion makes their appearance in Azeroth and bring with them a plague that will turn all into undead slaves; thus The Scourge is born.

The next episode was supposed to come out in Fall of 2006, but I really don’t know what happened, I’m guessing maybe the expansion got in the way.
FYI: I did not make this video. I just wanted to host the video on here so I could put it on my myspace and stuff. But it is a VERY funny World of Warcraft video. If you play WOW, you’ll laugh your ass off. If don’t, you might get it. Enjoy!
