There are good sites to look for World of Warcraft information and there are bad sites to look for World of Warcraft information. Most of the really good sites to find information about World of Warcraft though are the Blizzard endorsed sites like the World of Warcraft Vault, and the Allakhazam World of Warcraft site.

To do find the World of Warcraft Vault you can either do a search for the site, or you could enter the email address into the address bar and go where it leads you. If you want to go straight to the World of Warcraft Vault website their URL is, http://wowvault.ign.com/.

This will take you straight to their home page. Here you will find news and information on World of Warcraft and the World of Warcraft Vault. You will also find that there are many interesting links which you can explore to find the information you’re looking for about World of Warcraft.

After a little bit of looking around you will find that there are such things as World of Warcraft Vault game guides, which include information about the many dungeons, instances and quests. You will also come across such World maps to help you find your way through the lands of Warcraft.

These World of Warcraft Vault maps include Zone Maps and Instance Maps, along with Locations maps. When you go further into these you will have the ability to search through the many cities, regions and even according to trainers and city buildings and such.

You have the option of going through a talent calculator, and the many community databases. You will also find in the World of Warcraft Vault, archives on just about anything and everything about the World of Warcraft.

If you’re a newbie, or have only recently found out about World of Warcraft, you will find that there is more than enough information to keep you going and to help you figure out (sort of) what World of Warcraft is like.

Of course to fully do this you will need to play the game, but going through the World of Warcraft Vault archives and information will at least give you a passing acquaintance with everything that is World of Warcraft.

There are also links to other games similar to World of Warcraft, in the World of Warcraft Vault Network. And if all of this isn’t enough for you, the World of Warcraft Vault also has what are considered to some of the very best forums on just about any World of Warcraft topic that you can think of.

If you can’t find what you’re looking for you can even post your own question in the World of Warcraft Vault forums, but to do this you will need to be a member of the World of Warcraft Vault or rather of ign.com.

Muna wa Wanjiru asked:

There have been bad reviews in the archives of history but to date no World of Warcraft review has been a bad review. Well, alright that was a slight exaggeration.

As with anything World of Warcraft and the entire Warcraft empire does have its fair share of critics, but for the most part these are few and far between when you take on the entire legion of World of Warcraft players who believe the sun rises and sets in the world of video games with World of Warcraft.

This highly popular online game, reached a milestone of eight million players worldwide on January 11th, 2007. Not all of these people could be wrong could they, about the quality of the World of Warcraft game? Blizzard rightly took this as a sign of a good World of Warcraft review, given by none other than their loyal player base.

So how could there be a bad World of Warcraft review? Very easily in fact. Players of other major MMORPG’s will naturally enough prefer their own game to that of the World of Warcraft, and this holds doubly true if the game they play doesn’t need an account fee.

In fact this seems to be one of the worst World of Warcraft review problems, the need to pay for the privilege of playing World of Warcraft. Most of the numerous World of Warcraft review pages that you will come across though, will all lean towards praising World of Warcraft for its great game playing as well its accessibility and ease of play.

The good World of Warcraft review pages go on and on, and you will also find mention of such things as over a thousand quests available for game play with more still to come, a number of lands to explore, and a variety of races and classes to choose from to create your character.

Also another reason for a good World of Warcraft review lies in the fact that Blizzard learnt its lesson from other MMORPG’s and created instanced portions of the game so that players wouldn’t have to fight over the limited number of item drops, and the limited number of truly bad monsters to fight.

Having an instanced portion of the game to play in, meant that players could play without interrupting other players who were playing in the same portion of the game as they were. These were all factors leading to many a good World of Warcraft review from the time that it was released in November of 2004.

However, you don’t need to rely on a third party World of Warcraft review. With the advent of blogging and forums you can now give your own honest World of Warcraft review for other people to see.

Muna wa Wanjiru asked:

In World of Warcraft there are many quests you can go on and there many lands you can explore. You will come across many people with whom you can strike up a friendship and you will also come across many people with whom you can have a free-for-all. And through all of these you will come across many World of Warcraft items which you will find of use to you.

These World of Warcraft items can be obtained through many means. One of these is outright buying. You can buy whatever items you need at one of the three auction houses (Ironforge – Alliance auction house, Orgrimmar – Horde auction house, and Gadgetzan – neutral auction house and available for use of both factions).

Or you also have the choice of buying any World of Warcraft items from the Non-Playable Character vendors who dot the landscape of the World of Warcraft. You will also find that you come across World of Warcraft items in your many quests and explorations of lands. You will be able to get these through either looting or plundering!

That does sound odd, but really this is how you manage to get your World of Warcraft items, some of which are necessary for you to complete your quests. These World of Warcraft items can be obtained when any monsters that you fight drop them or when you kill anything and there is something left behind.

World of Warcraft items will also come to you in the form of chests and the like which are strategically placed, and to get to these you will generally have to fight your way through.

Other methods of obtaining World of Warcraft items can be from trading with other World of Warcraft gamers. This is permitted in the game and some people go through these channels instead of putting their stuff for sale at the auction houses.

World of Warcraft items will also generally be color coded. Gray items are the most common items and these you will come across almost everywhere. They are thought of as Poor in quality, and considered vendor trash by most people.

The next color coding level of World of Warcraft items is White. These are also quite easy to find and considered to be Common, although they are not as proliferate as the Gray items.

Greens come next on the list and these are a better find than either Whites or Grays. These are also known to be Uncommon World of Warcraft items.

After Green, comes the color coded Blue World of Warcraft items. These are very Rare to find and can fetch quite a tidy sum. Unfortunately you won’t be able to get your hands on these until you reach a few of the higher levels.

Purple World of Warcraft items are considered to be Epic, while Orange items are considered to be Legendary. These are almost impossible to find and will go for a very high price. All items though can be traded in-game by anyone.

Muna wa Wanjiru asked:

Many seem to be put off by the fact that if they want to play World of Warcraft, they will have to pay for the privilege. This has turned away more than one potential World of Warcraft gamer, but as the more than 8 million other gamers can attest, the World of Warcraft prices you need to pay to play, are well worth it.

If however you find that you are not interested in paying the World of Warcraft prices without first knowing what you are getting yourself into, you have the choice of downloading a World of Warcraft trial version. You will be able to play this trial version free, for a period of ten days, and it is available through the World of Warcraft website.

There is however no need to be put off by the World of Warcraft prices as they are quite reasonable and will give you all the access you need to the World of Warcraft. The World of Warcraft prices structure starts with the purchase of the official World of Warcraft software game package.

Although in the early days of its release World of Warcraft prices for the game software were somewhere in the region of $50 (that’s United States dollars), it has since dropped down to a more manageable $20, or thereabouts, price tag.

The monthly World of Warcraft prices for an account, you will find is somewhere in the range of $13-15 for North America. World of Warcraft prices in other parts of the world vary accordingly and depending where you find yourself you could pay as low as $0.50 for a day (North America), or as high as (approximately) $1.40 in some countries (Eastern Asia).

Not everyone will want to pay even such low World of Warcraft prices though, as many people simply don’t have the time or the inclination to play World of Warcraft all day long, every day. Unfortunately the shortest time period which can be purchased is one month’s (30 days) worth of game time.

This in itself can help as you can spread the cost of playing World of Warcraft through many months if you don’t play that often. World of Warcraft prices for the Burning Crusade expansion pack are also considered to be reasonable, with the game software retailing for somewhere in the region of $40.

And this only due to the fact that the release of the expansion was carried out only a few months previously in January of 2007. There is no doubt that as with other World of Warcraft prices, the Burning Crusade expansion pack prices will also fall to a more reasonable level.

And if you’re interested in board games over video games you will find World of Warcraft prices for the World of Warcraft Board Game are also very reasonable. They are retailed at $80 per game and give you more than enough value for money.

world of warcraft
